Installing iTwin on Mac OS X
1. If iTwin is plugged into your PC, unplug iTwin.
2. If iTwin software has already been installed, uninstall iTwin. Go to System Preferences and Click on iTwin icon to remove.
3. Click on the big green button below to download itwininstaller.pkg file.
4. Click on the itwininstaller.pkg and follow the steps to extract iTwin installer to your Mac.
5. Go to "/Applications/iTwin Installer/" folder and Double Click on iTwinInstaller.app, follow the instructions to install iTwin on your Mac.
You should be able to use iTwin now.
If your iTwin does not work, contact iTwin HelpDesk immediately and we will solve your problem.
1) If you are still using Snow Leopard operating system, plug in iTwin.
- A dialog box prompting you to install the latest free version of iTwin MAC software will appear.
- Simply follow the instructions.
2) If you have installed version 1.0.0.147 on Snow Leopard, but upgraded the OS to Lion, then you should manually uninstall the older version of iTwin before upgrading to version 1.0.0.181. Simply follow the below instructions.
- Move the iTwin directory (in /Application/iTwin) into the Trashbin.
- Move the iTwinUninstall.prefPane (in /Library/PreferencePanes/ directory) into the Trashbin.
- Click here to do a fresh install of iTwin MAC software.
